What is DYC iWi-Fi?
DYC iWiFI System is wireless Internet access in the form of a vouchered Wi-Fi network (SSID: DYC iWi-Fi) in different locations of the school. DYC iWi-Fi is provided as a public service, free of charge and for educational purposes of students, teachers and guests on DYCNHS vicinity
How to use the DYC iWi-Fi service?
Connect to Service Set IDentifier (SSID) DYC iWi-Fi, this will prompt to a login page.
Type the voucher code, click Login
You're connected to the internet
How to avail the service?
For classroom use
For classroom use
The teacher will inform the ICT Coordinator one day in advance that his/her class will be using the DYC iWi-Fi so that the ICT coordinator can prepare the voucher code and decide which promo will be given to the class.
The teacher will get the voucher from the computer laboratory. Instant Messaging may also be used to distribute the voucher.
If there is available time, the teacher will ask the students to answer the Customer Satisfaction and Feedback Form (CSFF)
For breaktime use of student
The student will seek approval from their subject teacher to do research and activities that requires the use of internet connection.
The teacher must fill-up the approval form or may send a personal message to the ICT coordinator to allow his/her section to use the service during breaktime.
